2021 Shannons Sydney Classic - Sydney Motorsport Park - Cancelled
As you now know, the Shannons Sydney Classic 2021 was unable to be held due to the Covid Restrictions Greater Sydney was under.
The Show was postponed, as we negotiated with ARDC for another available date. Originally, we were looking for a date in November or perhaps early December, unfortunately SMP is fully booked for those weekends, so we moved our aspirations towards April/May 2022.
We have now heard back from ARDC, and after considering their prior bookings, and commitments, they were unable to offer us any weekends in the first half of 2022.
They did offer us the weekend of 13/14th August 2022, and the Committee has agreed to this date.
So as with the Tokyo Olympics, SSC 2021 will now be held on the 14th August 2022.
Prior club bookings, tickets, etc. will all be valid for the new date.
Please tell your members to put their tickets somewhere safe that they will remember. Some have suggested putting the tickets in their logbook, so as not to misplace them.
We are sorry for any inconvenience, Covid has affected us all in many different ways.

The Committee of the CMC decided to cancel the Shannons Sydney Classic event for 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19 Restrictions.
It started at Warwick Farm in 1964 when the five clubs which started the CVV&TMC back then got together for a car show at that famous horse and car racing track.
(Very sad that these were the first cancellations in the 56 year history of the event.)

For 2025 we are back, bigger and better.
We are planning for close to 2,000 vehicles being driven to the SMSP
There will be the usual 50 garages with the trade and club displays.
And of course there will be the Concour competition.
