Members of CMC Clubs require stamps and signatures from the CMC, not ACMC NSW LTD any longer.
You should fill in sections 1 and 2 of the Classic Vehicle Declaration (Transport for NSW No. 1835).
Please do not fill in or sign section 3 of that form.
This is for the CMC to fill in and sign as we are your approved organisation and the authorised person.
The Primary Club, i.e., your club, should stamp the lower right-hand box to signify that you are a bona fide member of
your club, and your vehicle is acceptable to your club. That stamp MUST have the correct name of the club on it.
Acronyms and abbreviations are not acceptable.
Without that stamp, we will not process the application. The stamp should be legible for all to read, as Service NSW are
very strict on such things. You will note that point 1 at the top of the form says it must be the original so please send us
that. No copies can be accepted we are told.
A new requirement is the completion of the check list. This has been requested by the Authorities and must be
completed or the paperwork will progress no further. Every part must be checked off or signed and stamped. Please
understand that by completing this you are stating that your vehicle complies with the rules. It has to be submitted
every year.
When you wish to re-register your vehicle on the CVS, please don’t send us the original of the Safety Inspection Report
(pink slip). A photocopy is sufficient for our records. This avoids the relatively expensive document going astray in the
mail.
All we need is the Classic Vehicle Declaration (No. 1835) filled in as above, a copy of the pink slip, the completed check
list and the payment.
The fee is $25.00 for the processing, and, included in that is the cost of a domestic letter with tracking envelope for
return to you. This then gives us a way to find documents should they go astray.

It would be wise to save this document and discard any old papers on CVS so that you do not get confused next year.
